Bulgaria is situated in Southern Europe, its climate is a combination of continental and Mediterranean influences, which means the country has four well-defined seasons (spring, summer, autumn and winter), a lot of sunny days and relatively low precipitation.
The country is divided into two parts by the Balkan mountains. South of the Balkans, the Thracian Plain, is slightly warmer, with an average temperature ranging from 1 °C (34 °F) in January to 23 °C (73 °F) in July.
Average precipitation in Bulgaria is about 630 millimeters per year, whereas the Black Sea coastal area, and parts of the Thracian Plain usually receive less than 500 millimeters.
Our orchards are located in the South-East region of Bulgaria, characterized by a very mild climate and 10% more sunny days than the average for Bulgaria. The autumn is warm and dry, which contributes to superior fruit ripening and high sugar content.
The production facility and warehouse are located near Burgas – a very convenient location close to the highway: 30 km to Burgas port, 350 km to Sofia, 250 km to the border with Romania.
